Installation & requirements
Check that your Unity project and development environment meet these requirements before installing Xorin.
Requirements
- Unity 2022.3 LTS or Unity 6.3+
- Git installed and available from your terminal
- An internet connection for package installation and Xorin services
Xorin uses one package for both supported Editor lines. The release is built against the Unity 2022.3 compatibility baseline and regression-tested with Unity 6.3. Unity 2021.3 is not supported.
Install Xorin
Start your free trial to access the package URL and complete installation through Unity's Package Manager. No payment card is required.
Confirm the installation
After Unity imports the package, open Package Manager, select Xorin - AI Co-Developer, and confirm the package is installed without errors. Let Unity finish package resolution, script compilation, and workspace indexing before sending a request.
Update an existing installation
Open Package Manager, select Xorin - AI Co-Developer, and refresh or update the Git package using the package URL supplied by Xorin. If Unity retains an older cached revision, remove the package, add it again from the supplied Git URL, and wait for package resolution and compilation to finish before reopening Xorin.
Xorin does not install Addressables automatically. Add
com.unity.addressables 1.19.0 or newer to the project,
then review the
Addressables guide.
