Report a task
Send support the diagnostic state for one Xorin task without manually collecting logs. You decide whether task content or a screenshot is included.
Open a report
Select Report on a request-owned assistant turn. You can report a completed, failed, cancelled, incomplete, or currently running task. Older tasks created before reportable request IDs were retained may not provide this action.
Reporting does not cancel, continue, retry, keep, undo, or otherwise change the task. It does not automatically refund credits or create changes in your Unity project.
Complete the report
- Select the required reason that best describes the problem.
- Optionally describe what you expected and what happened.
- Optionally attach a PNG or JPEG file, or capture the current Scene or Game view. Review the exact preview before submitting.
- Optionally allow the task's prompt, responses, Plan, and redacted tool details to be included.
- Sign in to Xorin if needed, then select Submit report.
After submission, Xorin displays a confirmation ID. Copy this ID when contacting support. Selecting the submitted task's Report action again copies the ID.
Automatically included diagnostics
A metadata-only report includes:
- The request ID and task state.
- Xorin and Unity versions, model, reasoning effort, and interaction mode.
- Usage, provider-call, tool-status, and Plan-progress summaries.
- Error, limit, and incomplete-task metadata when available.
Content and screenshot controls
The task's exact prompt, responses, Plan text, and redacted tool arguments and results are included only when you select the task-content checkbox. This content can contain project paths, object names, or code snippets.
A screenshot is a separate choice. Xorin attaches one only after you choose a file or capture the Scene or Game view, see its preview, and leave it attached when submitting. Images previously used in the task are never attached automatically.
Consented content is redacted before upload and again before storage. Do not attach secrets, credentials, personal data, or project content that support does not need.
Authentication, retries, and retention
- Submission uses your signed-in Xorin account, including when your normal model requests use BYOK.
- Signing in does not submit the form; you must select Submit report afterward.
- A network or server failure keeps the form available for an explicit retry. Xorin does not silently queue a sensitive report.
- Descriptions, consented task content, and screenshot content are retained for up to 30 days.
- The remaining diagnostic report and confirmation ID are retained for up to 180 days.
